Acerola
Malpighia punicifolia
Acerola is a tropical fruit similar to a cherry which is very rich in vitamin C. Indeed, it is the third fruit of the world with higher content of vitamin C; it has 20 to 30 times more vitamin C than an orange.
It is also rich in vitamin B6, vitamin B1, vitamin A, flavonoids and essential minerals (iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium).
