Pollen
Pollen is a substance present in plants with seeds. It is transported from the plant that has originated it to another plant to produce the process of pollination. In this state, it is not digestible for most animals. However, bees collect pollen from plants and transport it to the honeycomb. Once their enzymes are added, they cover the pollen with a layer of honey, an anaerobic process begins and after a few weeks a digestible pollen is obtained. It is rich in proteins, polyunsaturated fats, vitamins of group B, A, D, E, and C, minerals and trace elements such as Ca, Fe, Mg, P. It also has active antibiotic substances.
