Propolis is a resinous mixture obtained by the bees from the yolk of the trees and processed in the hive to use it later to cover the walls of the hive and to protect it from viruses, bacteria and fungi. Propolis provides more than 250 constituent elements and 50 biologically active ingredients: resins, balsams, essential oils, minerals (more than 20 oligoelements), vitamins, aminoacids (7 of the 8 essentials) and more than 50 flavonoic groups.
